Here at PortaBrace we�ve developed a reputation for tough bags and cases that professionals depend on. With the BK-2NR Lightweight Rigid-Frame Video Camera Backpack we�re continuing that tradition. While lightweight and easy to carry--thanks to non-slip straps, a waist belt and removable straps, and extra closed-cell foam padding--the BK-2NR is also extremely strong thanks to its rigid frame. Made from corrugated plastic, the frame protects a camcorder up to 12� long.
Other features of the pack that protect your camcorder include two removable 7 x 13� dividers (one of them corrugated), a camera cradle, a PB-SMP small pillow, and a CC stuffer block. Of course, the 1000-denier Cordura exterior provides the same look and strength of other PortaBrace bags. Additional items included with the pack are the PB-B6 pouch, the PB-B9 pouch, awhite balance card, and the CARA-BRNZ carabiner and flashlight combo.
The BK-2NR backpack also features 15 pockets of various shapes and sizes. A padded interior pocket holds a laptop up to 17�, while the side tripod pocket with cinch strap keep your tripod safe and secure. You can also store gear in the two side hook and loop pockets for easy access, or the three side slip pockets, a front hook and loop pocket (with interior slip pocket), or front mesh pockets. The bag also has four clear interior vinyl zipper pockets so you can easily find what you�re looking for.

Rigid Frame for Extra Protection
The BK-2NR is more than just a padded backpack. Made from a rigid corrugated plastic, the frame is so tough that you can stand on top of the backpack without bending it. At the same time, it�s also much lighter than hard cases of the same size�setting it apart from its competitors.

Made to Withstand the Elements & Then Some
You wouldn�t expect anything less from PortaBrace than a tough backpack for your camcorder. Made from 1000-denier Cordura nylon, the exterior is the same strong material used on many of the bags and cases you�ve grown to depend on from PortaBrace over the years. Inside the bag you�ll find the same attention to detail with closed-cell foam padding, two removable 7 x 13� divider (one of them being corrugated), and them some.

Holds up to a 12� Camcorder
The BK-2NR is designed to carry camcorders up to 12� long (see compatibility list below), such as the Canon XH-A1. Your camcorder will stay safe in the camera cradle, thanks to a camera cradle and small pillow.

Carries a 17� Laptop
Along with your camcorder and other gear, you can carry a laptop up to 17� inside in the BK-2NR. A padded pocket ensures that your computer will stay safe and secure.

Support for Easy Transport
While it may be obvious that a backpack has padded backpack straps, PortaBrace ensures easy, supported transport and wear of your BK-2NR with many other considerations. Among them are padded side support straps and a padded removable waist belt that is adjustable for all heights and body types�including removable waist straps--taking much of the pressure off your shoulders, evenly distributing the weight of a full pack. Breathable mesh back and lumbar support help to keep you comfortable and cool. Extra foam padding, non-slip straps and non-slip material on the shoulder straps, among additional straps and padding round out the comfort features of the bag.

15 Pockets for Storage
The backpack has 15 pockets with a variety of materials and uses. In addition to the aforementioned padded 17� laptop pocket, the bag also has two side hook and loop pockets for easy access to your gear. In the same vein, the side tripod pocket keeps your tripod at the ready, and easily secured unsecured with a cinch strap. Other pockets include a side mesh pocket, three side slip pockets, front mesh pockets, a front hook and loop pocket with an interior slip pocket, and 4 clear interior vinyl zipper pockets that make it easy to see what you�re looking for.

Additional Included Items
In addition to the camera cradle and internal pillow for keeping your camcorder safe in transit, the BK-2NR also includes a CS-CR-U Universal Camcorder Cradle, a CS-B9 Stuff Sack, a carabiner with a flashlight built-in, camera and lens stabilizer bock, and also a white balance card.
