The Rain Slicker "VT" versions are specifically designed for cameras with mounted wireless video transmitters. They have a longer expandable back end for various batteries and wireless microwave transmitters.
Rain Slickers are made from waterproof Nylon Taslan material and complemented by a soft Tricot interior layer that protects the camera and reduces noise during operation. In addition to being waterproof (1000MM waterproof rating) the Taslan material is breathable (1000G/M² breathability rating), allowing heat from the camera to escape while the cover is deployed.
Clear Vinyl windows are used to provide unobstructed visibility of camera controls. Velcro-sealed openings are carefully placed to provide full access to controls and power supply without allowing water to seep in. The adjustable neoprene lens gasket creates a tight seal around the lens and an included detachable visor adds extra protection against droplets reaching the glass.
BUILT TO LAST, SINCE 1972
Portabrace cases have been built by hand in Vermont since 1972. And while professional audio and video technology continues to change at a relentlessly fast pace, one thing has remained the same for over 40 years: our commitment to quality. From the highest quality materials, to the hand-built wooden equipment models, to the reinforced sewing techniques designed to strengthen weight-bearing contact points, our production processes are designed to make our cases the toughest and most reliable products available.
